For a weekend I took part in an event to help create something that would benefit children. The event was organised by Dev4Good, who bring skilled people together to help charities in their free time. It was there where my team and I created Landmark, an educational app for children. When I was thinking of ideas for applications that could benefit children, I was conscious it was something that would actually fit into the lifestyles of every child, not just those that could afford smartphones. That's why it made sense to design something that teachers could use as a tool in their classes, rather than something that required children to have their own phones.
